Special Events held by the Santa Rosa Garden Club
Each year the Santa Rosa Garden Club holds special events such as our annual plant sale, bus trips to interesting garden spots, or other fund raising activities. Net proceeds from fundraisers allows Santa Rosa Garden Club to pursue it's educational objectives, including a scholarship program at Santa Rosa Junior College, community garden grants, and educational programs, and also meet the expenses of general operations in accordance with our vision statement.

May 2018 Garden Tour
In early May, we boarded a bus and toured the Elizabeth F. Gamble Garden and house in Palo Alto. We had a wonderful luncheon in the garden. We then toured three other wonderful gardens in Palo Alto and Atherton.
The first was a beautful Palo Alto home on a small lot with a wonderful fruit orchard in the front yard and an amazing vegetable garden in the back. We then traveled to Atherton where we stopped at a large garden with many garden rooms, sculptures, and an amazing palette of plants. The final garden, also in Atherton, was a beautiful array of rose bushes, citrus plants, redwoods, and art.
